Welcome to CarFy Cancun. By booking or using any of our rental services through carfycancun.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any reservation.

1. Rental Requirements

  • The renter must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid driver’s license is required. International customers may be asked to present an International Driving Permit (IDP).
  • A valid passport or government-issued ID must be provided.
  • Payment must be made via credit or debit card, unless otherwise agreed.

2. Payment and Deposit

  • Prices are listed in USD and may vary depending on season, vehicle type, and rental duration.
  • No deposit is required for most rentals, unless specified at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is typically due at the time of pickup, unless prepaid online.
  • In case of late return or vehicle damage, additional charges may apply.

3. Insurance

  • All rentals include basic insurance coverage (Third Party Liability).
  • Additional insurance options (Full Coverage, LDW, etc.) are available for purchase during the booking process or at pickup.
  • Insurance coverage is void in cases of reckless driving, DUI, or unauthorized use.

4. Vehicle Use

  • Vehicles must be used only for lawful purposes and on paved roads unless otherwise agreed.
  • The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, tolls, and parking violations during the rental period.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
  • Pets are allowed only with prior approval and may be subject to a cleaning fee.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the rental start date.
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a partial or full charge.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.

6. Pickup and Return

  • Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed locations and times.
  • Late returns may incur extra charges (grace period: 59 minutes).
  • Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Otherwise, a refueling fee may apply.

7. Limitation of Liability

CarFy Cancun is not liable for personal injuries, loss of personal belongings, or delays caused by external factors such as traffic, weather, or third-party services.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
